A Brooklyn native, Nitiya is passionate about economic empowerment for women and minorities. She is the Executive Director and Founder of Seeds of Fortune Inc. Scholars, which has helped minority young women earn $8 million in college scholarships and grants, and teaches career and financial management skills. She started the org after earning the Posse Full Tuition Leadership Scholarship to Babson. In 2018, Nitiya started Walker Finance - a financial social blog that helps Gen Z and Millennial people of color reach their financial goals. At the age of 17, Nitiya opened her first investment account, and at 26 she bought her first investment property in Brooklyn, NY. She now helps her supporters and runs workshops:
